Heatherlie Township plan

I have been very fortunate to have come across some documentation in my Father In Laws books about Heatherlie Quarry. I guess that is what really sparked an interest in the area.

Back in 1888, the Township of Heatherlie was surveyed, but only a few were sold. Looking in the area now, I could not see any remains of any buildings at all.

Below is a photo of Watkins Street. Thanks to National Parks for placing a sign there else I would have never known!
