Jerusalem – Bethlehem – 7 April 2014
Travelling South today to the Herodian, the place where King Herod’s Palace, Refuge and Burial place is located. We then went to Bethlehem to the Manger Square and the Church of Nativity. Off to lunch near the Shepherds Fields

Jerusalem – 6 April 2014
Today we visited the Model of the Old City, the Shrine of the Book and the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) and then to Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.

Jerusalem Free Day – 5 April 2014
We were lucky to have a free day in Jerusalem. It was the Sabbath, but we spent it wandering around the streets in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City, to the Western Wall, and walking the Ramparts of the Old City. A really great experience

Galilee to Jerusalem – 4 April 2014
We left Galilee and headed south along the Jordan Valley. We stopped at Beit Shean and then to the place where Gideon chose his soldiers. Heading south we went to Jericho, to the Temptation Mount and the Old Jericho area. We then proceeded up the Jericho Road (past the memorial for the Good Samaritan) up into Jerusalem.

Galilee – Golan Heights – 3 April 2014
Today we travelled from Galilee to the Golan Heights. We stopped at Mt Bentell and then a little further near a road that leads to Syria – we were about 400 metres from the Syrian Border.
We then travelled to Caesarea Philippi, Dan and then back through the Hula Valley back to Mount Beatitudes, to the shore of the Sea of Galilee and the Capernaum before returning to our accommodation.
