The Bent Pyramid is not the most attractive Pyramid around and is called such due to the change in angle of the sides. They got to a certain height and found that it was not stable. So they changed the angle to that of the Pyramids that we recognise at Giza.
Due to the shape, the Pharaoh at the time had another Pyramid built for himself to use.
