It was late afternoon and we were sitting on the top deck of the Cruise Ship MV Miriam going from Aswan to Luxor. There was plenty to see from our position on the boat – but the local kids also enjoyed seeing the boats regularly go down the Nile and always get satisfaction when people on the boats wave back to them.
