WIth Jericho being such and old City, there are plenty of opportunities to find things from the past. At Tel es-Sultan, there are some extensive archaeological work being done and as can be seen in the photo below, a stone wall had been discovered.
There are a number of digs around Jericho and makes interesting reading finding the differing opinions. But with over 11000 years of history, and not a lot of recorded information, many opinions can not be proved or disproved.
