At 6:00am it was very quiet. The sun had just started to hit the water of the River Murray and bounce onto the Paddle-steamers tied to the historic wharf at the Port of Echuca. The Wharf has many levels to cope with the varying level of the River – and as can be seen here, the water level is fairly well down despite there being plenty of rain this season.
This place has so much history attached to it. This photo was taken very close to the edge of the River Murray looking between many trees that are in this location.
