Across the skyline, it is quite often seen mosques and churches. There are high-rise building after high-rise. As we travelled along the 6th October Bridge near the Cairo Train Station, we saw this coptic styled Church. Complete with the mosaic on the front. It is very common to see mosaics on Churches in the middle eastern countries – these predate the lead-light windows that are commonly placed seen in Churches.
