Hamish at the Marriott in Cairo feeling very brave

Today, Hamish, feeling very brave, decided to test his bravery in style! As we stepped outside the magnificent Cairo Marriott Hotel, he instantly locked eyes with a fierce white lion—a grand statue guarding the hotel’s front entrance. Our intrepid teddy didn’t hesitate and clambered right up onto its back! With Heather close by for both support and safety, Hamish truly was the star of the morning, feeling very brave indeed.

Exploring the Marriott’s Heritage and Statues

We marveled at the impressive number of statues scattered around the Marriott Hotel grounds. These sculptures, including the proud lions, are woven into the heritage of this building—which was once a royal 19th-century palace. Hamish continued feeling very brave as he explored the stately gardens and the palatial architecture, giving us endless fascinating corners to explore with Hamish.

Pro Tips for a Playful Walk with Hamish

  • Stroll the front entrance for the best statue photos—especially early or late for soft light.
  • Let Hamish pose with the majestic lion statues and other elegant features. Hamish feeling very brave is definitely a sight to behold!
  • Keep an eye out for more hidden gems around the heritage gardens and ornate walkways.
  • Ensure safety when climbing—Heather’s quick hands helped Hamish safely back to the ground!

What to Photograph

Photograph Hamish with the white lion statue as the centerpiece. Capture the grandeur of the palace backdrop, and seek out close-ups with other statues or intricate carved fountains. Early morning provides beautiful, gentle light to show off the stonework’s details.

Alternative Experiences and Where We Stayed

Hamish’s brave lion-riding moment will live forever in our travel memories. The Marriott’s statues and palace history make every walk an adventure—no matter who’s by your side (or hopping onto a lion!). In conclusion, Hamish feeling very brave turned an ordinary day into an extraordinary adventure.
