One of the things that I was very cautious about was to ensure I didn’t drink any of the water direct from the river. We always ensured we had bottled water – But the locals enjoyed swimming on a very hot day and didn’t seem to mind what was in the water.
It was really great to see a group of friends enjoying themselves – as we were sailing down the Nile on the MS Miriam
