Orca Cruise Postponed
Bremer Bay – a quiet little coastal town – was a highly anticipated destination for us, especially since we had pre-booked a cruise to see the magnificent Orcas. However, due to fires and extremely rough conditions on the water, the cruise was deferred for a day. While this was initially disappointing, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
Relaxing at Bremer Bay Caravan Park
With the cruise postponed, we had the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. After setting up at the Bremer Bay Caravan Park, we enjoyed a leisurely afternoon with wine and cheese. The park itself is a beautiful spot, nestled among peppi trees and offering a range of facilities to make our stay comfortable.
Exploring the Bay and Headland
The delay also gave us time to explore the stunning surroundings. Driving around the bay and the headland area just south of Bremer Bay township, we discovered many lovely beaches. Each one offered its own unique charm, from pristine sands to crystal-clear waters, making it a photographer’s paradise.
Enjoyable Evening at Bremer Bay Brewing Company
To top off our day, we had an enjoyable evening meal at the Bremer Bay Brewing Company. This small, family-run business is known for its passion for crafting beer, and their Red Ale even won Gold at the 2020 Perth Royal Show. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the food paired perfectly with their delicious brews. It was the perfect way to end a relaxing day.
