Ian has a high involvement in the Stawell Athletic Club. The Club has, since 1878, organised and run the Stawell Gift – a handicap race over 120 metres.

Many elite athletes have participated in the event and much history has been created. Ran over the Easter weekend each year, I am pleased that I can play a small part in ensuring that the event remains “Ever Foremost”.
