Tag: Flinders Ranges SA – 2023

In 2023, we travelled from our home to explore the beautiful Flinders Ranges in South Australia.

Other Highlights included Southern and Northern Flinders.

A Long-Awaited Return

We have wanted to return to the Flinders Ranges for many years. In Ian’s case, his last visit was during his childhood. Heather, on the other hand, spent considerable time around the Flinders, visiting areas with her father and also working at Mt Searle Station.

Exploring Familiar and New Grounds

We decided to spend some time exploring areas where George worked and also discovering new parts of the Flinders region. This is a place you could keep going back to over and over again, always finding something new to see and experience.

The Timeless Beauty of the Flinders Ranges

The Flinders Ranges offer a unique blend of rugged landscapes, rich history, and diverse wildlife. Whether you’re hiking through the ancient gorges, marveling at the stunning rock formations, or simply soaking in the serene beauty of the outback, there’s always something to captivate your senses.

Conclusion

Our return to the Flinders Ranges was a journey of rediscovery and new adventures. The timeless beauty of this region continues to inspire and amaze us, and we look forward to many more visits in the future.
