Campsite Highlights
The campground features eight private bush camping sites, each carefully positioned along scenic creek banks. At just $20 per vehicle per night, the value was exceptional. Seclusion was the keyword here – each site felt wonderfully private and intimately connected with the surrounding landscape at Three Creeks Station.
Wildlife Encounters
Our three-night stay was punctuated by magical moments with local wildlife. Curious emus wandered near our campsite, their prehistoric silhouettes moving gracefully across the rugged terrain. Kangaroos frequently visited, creating a quintessential Australian bush experience that felt both wild and wonderfully intimate. Truly, Three Creeks Station brought us closer to wildlife than ever before.
Location and Landscape
Situated mid-way between the Southern and Northern Flinders Ranges, Three Creeks Station is approximately four hours drive from Adelaide. The landscape is breathtaking – a raw, untouched slice of Australian wilderness that feels worlds away from urban life.
Pro Tip: Bring plenty of water, good camping gear, and a sense of adventure. This is truly remote camping at its finest. There is no telephone reception, and we relied on our Starlink connection to be able to contact our family.

Ther was plenty of things for Mishael to do at Three Creeks Station. He went into the creek bed that was dry, went rock climbing and climbed some trees. Wearing his hat was very important.
