The artwork celebrates local author Colin Thiele’s “Sun on the Stubble” and intertwines Ngadjuri Indigenous history, symbolised by stars, stories, and a red string guiding the children and visitors through time.

We felt joy exploring Eudunda, viewing artefacts related to the mural right in town. Local businesses, bakeries, and museums host items featured in the silos. The red string element links local landmarks such as the Laucke flour mill and the Farmers Co-op building. Every corner told a fresh story.

There is also a lookout on the southern edge of Eudunda which gave a great view of the two silos from an elevated position.
