A Hidden Gem
Another hot day on our journey led us to a great little campground well off the main road called Munglinup Beach Campground. This hidden gem provided a much-needed respite from the heat and a perfect spot to unwind.
The Campsite
The campsite is nestled behind the sand dunes, offering a sense of seclusion and tranquility. At just $15 per day, it’s an affordable option for travelers. A person from the nearby caravan park comes down to collect the fee, making it a convenient and hassle-free experience. There are also toilets nearby, adding to the comfort of the stay at Munglinup Beach Campground.
Campground Facilities
- Composting toilets and basic shower facilities are maintained on site
- Water is available, but not suitable for drinking; BYO recommended.
- No electricity is provided at the campground.
- There’s a well-equipped camper’s kitchen, BBQ area, and fish cleaning station at the nearby caravan park, 3 km away.
- Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a leash.
- Campfires are allowed only outside the fire danger season.
- The site is first come, first served; no bookings required for the campground itself.
- A small shop at the caravan park sells bait, ice, and basic supplies.
