Hamish does High Tea at Raffles Hotel in Singapore
Hamish does High Tea at Raffles Hotel in Singapore

After a long trip around the Middle East and Greece, Hamish thought it would be a great idea to enjoy some finer things in life. We had booked in to the Tiffen Room at the Raffles Hotel a few weeks earlier – you do need to prebook.

Afternoon tea was a very formal affair, and Hamish made sure his bow tie had been straightened  and his fur “done” so he could get into the room without issues. Everyone else dressed up rather formal like – even though it was rather warm and humid.

They served some lovely tea and the guys even tried the Champagne (even though it was expensive in anyones book). There were plenty of sandwiches, cakes and slices to choose from and it was rather relaxing.

Apart from the food and the tea, there was some great music from a lovely young woman playing a harp. This added to the “atmosphere” .
